Set in the heartland of Shropshire one mile south of the historic market town of Whitchurch, Dearnford Lake was designed and created amidst pleasant and scenic surroundings in the early 90's specifically with fly fishermen in mind. The lake is naturally fed by pure spring water and it covers 15 acres. All banks are easily accessible and have been left clear for casting. Stocked regularly with excellent 'hard fighting' Rainbow and Brown Trout, the water has achieved national acclaim. An excellent and unique stillwater, it caters for all abilities from the complete novice to the seasoned veteran.
